Where it started

CC grew up without a father. At seventeen she was kidnapped by a narcissist. She never finished school.

No diploma, no experience, no budget. All she had was her sales talent and her belief in herself, and one goal, no matter what: making her mom proud. That is when she developed her strategy.

The story

She was 20 when Beyoncé's stylist called.

Could she come over in ten minutes? That call was the start of fourteen years: distributing international brands, celebrity launches, supplying more than 2,000 stores in 16 countries, building her own brands and a team of sixty in China. Then she launched her books: 200,000 copies at launch, and more than 250,000 today.

Why she changed
“Don’t forget my laptop.”

Her son was born at just six months. As she was rushed into the ambulance, the first thing she said was: don’t forget my laptop.

On the day of his funeral, she went home and opened her laptop again. Seven days a week, ten hours a day, for fourteen years: it was all she knew.

This year she decided things had to be different. Life flashes by, and she wants to enjoy every single day with her family and her kids. So she built a strategy that lets her work two hours a day, three days a week.
